La Roche Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Soothing Cleansing Cream 200ml

I got the product and the first thing i noticed was that the expirat date was 11/2026 which is very near for a skincare product. Secondly, after applying it, my skin got redness, swelling, burning. It literally caused chemical burns. I never had any reaction to any skincare product ever, neither am I allergic to any of the constituents of this moisturiser.
The product was likely spoiled and it damaged my skin so much. I had to apply steroid cream and take oral medications to counter the effects. I can still feel the dried, burnt up skin texture on my face. I am extremely disappointed. My family wanted to sue the company for sending a spoiled product. I don't know how much time will it take for my skin to fully recover.
